A woman was taken to the hospital and her significant other cited for drunk driving after she allegedly ended a rolling domestic dispute by leaping out of a car on Interstate 80 Saturday night.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Mary Kay Lucas said the woman jumped from the slow-moving, westbound vehicle about 8:40 p.m. near the East Canyon exit.

She sustained minor injuries from the jump and was transported to the hospital for precautionary examination.

The male driver was cited for DUI, Lucas said.
