A federal judge recently ordered a man to stand trial for the death of another man on the Navajo Nation reservation in southeastern Utah.

Raymus Sheldon Whitehorse, 25, was indicted in U.S. District Court for manslaughter within Indian Country for "knowing and intentionally while in the heat of passion" killing Anthony Judy. Last month, U.S. District Judge Dee Benson ordered that Whitehorse's trial be set for Feb. 29.

The indictment offers no details about Judy's death, including how he died.

Whitehorse's trial was originally scheduled for the end of November, but it was postponed so that his attorneys could have more time to investigate the case.
