Cache County sheriff's deputies believe they have ended a rash of cabin break-ins with the arrests of a man and woman.

Sheriff's Lt. Mike Peterson confirmed Monday that the arrests of a 49-year-old Centerville woman, and her alleged 31-year-old accomplice, an Ogden man, close the investigation of five recent burglaries in the Scare Canyon Estates area.

Evidence purportedly tying the two to the break-ins was confiscated after detectives executed a search warrant on Centerville storage unit.

The female suspect, who has since posted bail at Cache County jail and awaits further court proceedings, was arrested Friday on three second-degree counts of burglary, one third-degree felony count of attempted burglary, and numerous misdemeanor counts of theft, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.

The male suspect already was in the Weber County jail on unrelated charges. He will be facing additional burglary-related charges in a criminal summons to be issued later this week, Peterson said.
