A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Lehi slowed southbound traffic through Utah County into the afternoon on Tuesday.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said the crash involved four or five cars and one semi truck, but he had no details about what caused the accident.

Only minor injuries were reported, according to Royce.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. near the Alpine exit to State Road 92, which is near the south end of the Point Project, where construction stretches from Draper to Lehi.

All lanes of southbound traffic were initially closed following the crash.
