A light dusting of snow could create slick roads and a problematic commute for Utahns starting their work week.

The northern Wasatch Front and Cache Valley will see slippery secondary and residential streets in the Monday morning commute, according to the National Weather Service.

A 30 percent chance of snow is expected in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas through noon on Monday, and temperatures are expected to reach a high of 30 degrees. There likely won't be more snow for the rest of the week, and the high temperatures will reach the mid-30s by midweek, and the mid-40s by Thursday and Friday.

In St. George, the skies are expected to be clear and high temperatures will hover in the mid to high 50s through the week.
