A Salt Lake City man says he had known the woman for a month, so he wasn't suspicious when she asked to go to a Wal-Mart to pick up a few things.

It was about 2 p.m. Sunday when they got back to his room at the Skyline Hotel, 2475 E. 1700 South, and that is when things just went wrong, police said.

There was a knock at the door, and the female suspect let in two men, one of them brandishing an undisclosed weapon. She then joined them in assaulting and robbing the man.

The trio bound the victim with electrical tape, took his wallet, cellphone and keys, and then drove off in his car.

The man eventually freed himself and called for help.

The female suspect was described as white, thin, in her late-20s to early-30s. She told the victim her name was "Jessica."

One of the male suspects was a white male in his late-30s of short, stocky build; there was no description released for the second male suspect
