A man was in critical condition Tuesday, the day after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Interstate 15 near Bluffdale.
The crash occurred about 10 p.m. Monday, near 14700 South, when the helmetless, 51-year-old motorcyclist apparently was surprised by a slowdown in traffic. He managed to avoid hitting one vehicle, but then slammed his Harley into the back of the GMC pickup, said UHP Sgt. Todd Royce.
The 28-year-old driver of the truck was uninjured.
