A St. George man has died after his SUV rolled off a road south of St. George.
Two Mohave County, Ariz., sheriff's deputies were near River Road, close to the Utah-Arizona border, when they saw a "big cloud of dust" about 5 p.m. Monday, according to a statement by the Mohave County Sheriff's Department. The deputies traveled toward the dust cloud to find an SUV had rolled off the road. The driver, 47-year-old Matthew Harris Putnam, died at the scene.
No one else was inside the vehicle when the crash occurred, deputies wrote.
