Summit County Search and Rescue crews were dispatched Monday morning to look for a group of hikers reportedly overdue from a Sunday trek near Hoop Lake.

Just before 9 a.m., the three hikers were found alive and well, Sheriff Justin Martinez said.

The hikers apparently went missing overnight in the area of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, near the Utah-Wyoming border.

The Tribune will update this story as details develop.
