Police publication of a security camera image of a man sought in a credit card theft from a West Valley City funeral home paid off quickly.

The photo, broadcast by television newscasts and through various social media sites, quickly generated responses from the public.

On Friday, WVCPD confirmed it had identified the suspect as Justin Burrows, 28. Earlier this week had police released the photo, snapped at an area Wal-Mart store where Burrows allegedly had used the stolen card to make an undisclosed amount of purchases recently.

Burrows, last seen driving a silver passenger car away from the store, remained at large.

Anyone with further information on this case is asked to call WVCPD at 801-840-4000.
