Weber County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a shooting suspect after a man was shot in Washington Terrace on Sunday afternoon.

Deputies received a call at 1:42 p.m. that a shooting had occurred at Lake Park Apartments, on the 4900 South block of 350 East. Officers arrived to find a 19-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to his chest and one of his legs, according to a Weber County Sheriff's Office news release.

"The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries," the release reads.

Deputies suspect that the shooter was another male who allegedly fled north through the apartment complex, on foot.

The sheriff's office has limited information about the suspect, who officers described an 18- to 20-year-old with short, black hair. He was reportedly wearing a gray shirt.
