The American Cancer Society debuted a free lodging facility at about 100 South and 400 East Thursday that it hopes will offer a supportive environment for cancer patients and their caregivers who travel long distances to receive treatment. The Hope Lodge plans to welcome its first patrons next month, but the media got a chance to tour the facility during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility. More online. > sltrib.com
