Rep. Mia Love, R-Utah, the child of Haitian immigrants, shared her story at a naturalization ceremony at the South Jordan Library on Monday, shortly before 13 people became naturalized citizens. Congress has set aside the immigration debate, which has become a major issue in the Republican presidential primary, where candidates have offered a range of proposals from building a border fence and rescinding birthright citizenship to increasing the number of immigrants who would be granted Green Cards.
