Ogden police were seeking suspects Friday in a broad-daylight, gang-related shooting that left an 18-year-old man in critical condition.

Ogden police Lt. Nate Kline said there had been no change reported in the condition of the victim, a Roy man who was gunned down just after noon Thursday as he rode a bicycle near 2300 S. Van Buren Ave.

Witnesses described a silver, four-door car as the suspect vehicle. The car pulled alongside the victim and someone inside then opened fire, inflicting multiple gunshot wounds.

Police cordoned off the area and searched for the suspects for several hours without success.

Investigators confirmed the shooting appeared to be part of a gang dispute, but declined to release further details due to the ongoing nature of their case.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to call Ogden police at 801-629-8221.
