A 22-year-old man was critically injured Thursday night in a hit-and-run while crossing a downtown Salt Lake City street against the light, police said.

The pedestrian, who was leaving the Twilight concert in Pioneer Park, was struck about 8:55 p.m. by an SUV while in a crosswalk on 300 West at 300 South, according to Salt Lake City police Lt. John Beener. He said the driver then left the scene.

The man's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Beener said. Police are looking for the SUV driver.
