Police are looking for bank-robbing, would-be cowboy who held up the AmericanWest Bank in Woods Cross.

The Woods Cross Police Department reports the man — a 5-foot-10 white man of medium build, in his 50s to early 60s, and wearing a white cowboy hat pulled down on his brow — showed a firearm and demanded cash from a teller about 1:45 p.m. Monday.

The teller complied, putting an undisclosed amount of cash into the suspect's bag, and he left the bank, at 1290 S. 500 West.

Police said he was last seen driving away in a dark gray or black pickup truck.
