Crews on Friday afternoon fought a small grass fire alongside Interstate 215 west near 2100 South, the Salt Lake City Fire department reported.
The fire appeared to be out by about 2:15 p.m.
During the incident, the right-hand southbound lane of the freeway was temporarily closed, the Utah Department of Transportation reported.
