A man died after a three-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Clearfield.

An 18-year-old man was turning onto State Road 193 from Center Street about 4:30 p.m. when his Ford F-250 struck a westbound Dodge Dakota, Clearfield police wrote in a press statement. The driver of the Dakota lost control of the car, which collided with a Nissan Sentra that was traveling east.

The driver of Sentra, a 37-year-old man, died at a hospital; his two female passengers, 34 and 13, suffered less serious injuries, police said. The 26-year-old man who was driving the Dakota also was taken to a hospital; police did not disclose his condition.

They also did not disclose any injuries to the driver of the F-250.

The crash remains under investigation, police wrote.
