Wasatch County firefighters successfully battled a wildfire Monday afternoon near a Jordanelle Reservoir condo complex.

Mike Erickson, a spokesman for the State Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands, said crews from Wasatch County and other agencies had knocked down the one-acre blaze by 3 p.m., more than two hours after it was spotted in oak brush above the 130-plus unit Fox Bay development.

No injuries were reported, but crews evacuated about 100 people from the vacation complex as a precaution.

Investigators believe power lines crossed in the high winds, causing the fire, Erickson said.
