Hand crews, several fire engines and a bulldozer were dispatched Wednesday to battle a wildfire in extreme northwestern Utah that had consumed about 90 acres.

Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands spokesman Jason Curry said the fire on Keg Mountain, in a remote corner of Box Elder County, likely was sparked by lighting sometime late Tuesday night.

No structures were believed at risk and no injuries had been reported.

The rocky, high desert prominence is a popular venue for backpackers and climbers.
