A skydiver was injured and in critical condition Sunday afternoon after falling 200 feet in a skydiving accident in Tooele County.

Trevor Sandburg, of Sandy, was skydiving near the Erda airport at about 4:30 p.m. when his parachute folded up and he plunged to the ground, according to Lt. Travis Scharmann with the Tooele County Sheriff's Office.

Sandburg, 20, was alert and talking when paramedics arrived. He was transported by helicopter to University Hospital with critical injuries, including a broken femur and pelvis, Scharmann said.
