The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover accident that has closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near Grantsville.

The accident happened just before 5:30 p.m., UHP Sgt. Mary Kay Lucas said.

Two people of three people in the vehicle had suffered serious injuries and at least one helicopter was enroute, Lucas said.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the car to roll.
