Growing up in New Orleans and steeped in many styles of music, Frederick James McCray learned to play piano by ear at the age of five. He's made Utah his home for the past 30 years. He performs as a freelance piano soloist and with groups in a wide range of musical styles from jazz and gospel to rhythm and blues.
