An elderly man reportedly remained in very critical condition on Monday, three days after he was ejected from a rolling car in Davis County.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said the condition of 75-year-old Vaughn Stoker was not reported to have changed since he was flown from the scene of the 6:30 p.m. Saturday crash on a ramp leading from Fruit Heights to southbound U.S. 89.

UHP said a red Ford Cobra Mustang went out of control on the ramp, the driver over-corrected and the car rolled off the left shoulder. Stoker, not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt, was flown to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden.

The driver and a second passenger were wearing seat belts and escaped with non-life threatening injuries.

Excessive speed was suspected as a factor in the crash, but the accident remained under investigation.
