A man is in the hospital with a stab wound to the chest after an altercation in Springville, according to police.

The 22-year-old victim — whom police otherwise have not identified — was arguing with a neighbor at the neighbor's home Sunday evening when the attacker got involved in the argument, according to a news release from the Springville Department of Public Safety. The assailant eventually pulled out a knife, after which the neighbor told the victim and assailant to leave.

As the victim walked away, the assailant followed and stabbed him on the left side under his rib cage. The attacker then chased the victim, who ran to another neighbor's house where he called 911, police said.

The victim was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for treatment, but police did not have information on his condition Sunday night.

Police suspect 21-year-old Jordan Willey Wood, also known as "Montel Showtime," stabbed the man. They are looking for information on his whereabouts, though he is believed to be in or near Utah County.
