South Jordan police are looking for whoever stole package deliveries that were going to help autistic children.

At 6:38 p.m. May 16, a homeowner's surveillance footage shows a female running up to a porch on the 500 West block of Aspen Gate Lane (11145 South). She was empty-handed, but then ran back to the street with four packages, according to a South Jordan police news release.

The packages, which belonged to a licensed clinical psychologist, contained items needed to treat and evaluate autistic children. The items had recently been delivered and are valued at $2,000.

Based on the footage, the suspect appears to be a white woman who is possibly in her 30s, with dark hair, and wearing a black-and-white stripped tank top sundress, sandals and sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the South Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000. Callers may remain anonymous.
