A Provo High School student has been arrested for allegedly obtaining and distributing nude photographs of his fellow students.

The 18-year-old man allegedly obtained multiple nude photos of his fellow students, according to the Provo Police Department. All of the photos were originally taken by the victims, and the suspect obtained them through a third party or through fake online accounts, the police added in a news release.

After that, the suspect allegedly distributed them to other students, according to the release. He also allegedly assaulted a girl when she refused to help him obtain more, the release adds.

Officers arrested the suspect on May 14. He was booked into Utah County jail on suspicion of four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, assault and dealing in material harmful to a minor.
