There will be a 21-gun cannon salute and music provided by units from the Utah National Guard. A memorial wreath will be place at the Wall of Honor at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Fort Douglas Memorial Day Ceremony

The Utah Chapter of the Association of the United States Army will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at the Fort Douglas Military Cemetery. The guest speaker will be Maj. Gen. Jeff Burton, Adjutant General of the Utah National Guard. Starting at 9:30, there will be a "march" from the Fort Douglas Museum Memorial Park to the cemetery.

Provo Memorial Day Service

Provo's service will include the Timpview High School Band, Miss Provo Malissa Richardson and her attendants, and Skyler Mann, who will perform the national anthem. A special presentation on the Vietnam 50th Anniversary will be made by Andrew Wilson and the keynote speaker will be Col. Andrew Wood. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Covey Center for the Arts, 425 W. Center St.
