A 27-year-old motorcyclist died Monday night after he collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee near 42nd Street and Harrison Boulevard in Ogden, officers said.

He apparently was not wearing a helmet, investigators said.

According to a news release from Ogden Police, the Jeep was turning westbound onto 42nd Street and the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Harrison Boulevard when the accident occurred.

The 48-year-old woman driving the Jeep was uninjured and was the person in that vehicle, according to the news release.

The incident was being investigated Monday night and no citations had been issued. The name of the victim was not released.
