A snow-clogged, slippery Tooele County interchange between westbound State Road 201 and Interstate 80 was the scene of a fatal crash Wednesday night.

UHP Sgt. Todd Royce said 20-year-old Rylee M. Larkin, of South Jordan, was driving her 2008 Hyundai west on SR-201 about 9 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier wall. Her car was then rearended by an SUV.

Larkin was dead at the scene. The SUV's driver was unhurt, while a passenger was treated for minor injuries at the hospital.

The accident remained under investigation, but weather conditions were believed to be primary factors in the crashes.
