Police are asking the public's help in bringing to justice suspects in at least two break-ins at the same Salt Lake City Avenues liquor store.

Salt Lake City police Detective Dennis McGowan said the burglaries occurred on March 14, about 3 a.m., and again on April 3, about 1:30 a.m., at the 502 E. Sixth Ave. outlet.

The suspects, white males in their late teens to early 20s, were caught on security cameras. In each case, one of them breaks out a window, the second climbs through and pulls bottles off a shelf, which are then put into a backpack before they flee on foot.

In the most recent incident, both suspects were wearing similar style sweatpants, black with green writing down the sides of their left legs. One suspect also wore a large, knit stocking cap.

In addition to still images taken from the security camera, SLCPD also has a video clip on its website or on the left side of this page, if you're reading on a desktop browser.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at 801-799-3000, or to anonymously text the keyword TIPSLCPD to 274637.
