St. George • Warm weather and a new Utah national parks tourism campaign may be driving a jump in visitors at four of Utah's five national parks this year.

The Spectrum of St. George reports Zion National Park has seen about 475,000 more visitors from January through March, up 28 percent from the same months last year.

Zion spokeswoman Aly Baltrus says weather and Utah's "Mighty 5" tourism campaign have attracted visitors.

Bryce Canyon National Park received 33 percent more visitors through February and Arches National Park saw a 23 percent increase through March.

Capitol Reef National Park received a 16 percent bump in visitors through February.

Canyonlands was the only Utah park to receive a drop in visitors, with a 22 percent decrease.

Messages left with a Canyonlands spokeswoman were not immediately returned.
