A 3-year-old boy died Saturday after a sport-utility vehicle hit him while backing out of a driveway, according to KUTV.
The boy was riding a scooter on New Land Loop when he turned in front Dodge Durango, KUTV reported. The accident happened about 5:35 p.m.
Police told KUTV that charges are unlikely against the driver. The news station also reported that the boy's father was walking with him at the time.
