Police on Monday identified a woman who died in a one-vehicle weekend crash near a Washington City landfill.

Washington City police Officer Ed Kantor said 46-year-old Teresa L. Huff, of St. George, was killed when the blue Subaru passenger car she was in missed a curve on the Washington County Landfill road and rolled several times about 4:40 p.m. Sunday.

A male in the car escaped the crash with non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George for evaluation, Kantor said.

The cause of the accident remained under investigation, as well as which of the two occupants was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
