Police on Monday were searching for a woman who allegedly walked into a Millcreek home, threatened a man and his son with a pry bar and stole their car.

The woman, wielding a pry bar, walked into the front door of a house near 3900 S. Highland Drive about 3 p.m. and claimed she was being chased, Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal wrote in a press statement. She threatened to hit the homeowner and his son with her pry bar if they did not give her the keys to their car, Hoyal wrote.

They gave the car keys to the woman, and she drove west in their 2009 Honda Pilot, Hoyal wrote. The homeowners filmed the woman with a cellphone, Hoyal said.

Officers could not find the woman or the stolen car. The woman was described as white, in her early 20s, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with brown hair and a medium build. She was wearing black jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and had piercings in her nose and lip. The Honda is white with a rack on top and Utah plates B405AL.
