Police and FBI agents in northern Utah have seized more than $600,000 worth of drugs and arrested a suspected dealer in an undercover investigation into trafficking tied to a Mexican drug cartel.

Carlos Jesus Inzuna Rodriguez of West Valley City was arrested during a sting at a gas station north of Ogden.

The Weber/Morgan Narcotics Strike Force says investigators say Rodriguez had agreed to sell seven pounds of meth for $80,000 to a confidential informant in Pleasant View.

Instead, he was arrested and West Valley police searched his home where they found an additional 12.5 pounds of meth and 1.5 pounds of what appears to be a dangerous imitation of heroin known as "Crocodile."

Rodriguez was booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of meth possession with intent to distribute.
