Kyle Trammell, a well-known Utah beer expert, was found dead Thursday after he had been missing for several days.

The 26-year-old South Salt Lake man had been missing since Tuesday, when he did not show up to work in Ogden. A South Salt Lake police detective had been trying to track him down to check on his welfare.

But Thursday night, someone saw his black 2007 Subaru Legacy in a remote area near Great Basin National Park in eastern Nevada, according to South Salt Lake police. It was too late at night for a recovery, so the White Pine County, Nev., Sheriff's Office returned Friday morning and found Trammell's body.

"Kyle Trammell had taken his own life," the South Salt Lake police said in a news release Saturday. No further details were disclosed.

Trammell previously worked at several locations in the Salt Lake Valley, and more recently, he had been working at The Barrelhouse in Ogden.
