The Utah town of Saratoga Springs is investigating whether a group attempted to digitally attack its website.
Four Twitter posts imply there was some effort to target the website late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
But as of Wednesday morning, Saratoga Springs' website appeared to be functioning well.
The Twitter posts referenced Darrien Hunt, the 22-year-old man shot and killed by Saratoga Springs police Sept. 10. The Utah County attorney later determined the shooting was justified under Utah law.
One Twitter account uses the handle @OpDarrienHunt. Another user with the handle @DigitaShadow references the hacker group Anonymous in its profile.
"There's [no result] we can tell other than maybe a disruption on our website," said Saratoga Springs spokesman Owen Jackson.
Jackson said the town's website is hosted by a third party. There's no worry that any hack compromised any sensitive data kept by town government.
Saratoga Springs' former mayor, Mia Love, was sworn into Congress on Tuesday.
