One of the most popular New Year's resolutions is to find a better job.

If you are hoping for one, Salt Lake City is the right place to be looking.

The Beehive State's capital ranked No. 8 best city to find a job out of the 150 most populated U.S. cities, according to an analysis conducted by WalletHub.

The analysis looked at 16 different factors, and here's how Utah ranked on some of them, with 1 being the best and 75 being average:

14th • Job Opportunities

4th • Employment Growth

40th • Unemployment Rate for High School Graduates

13th • Unemployment Rate for People with Bachelor's Degree or Higher

64th • Median Annual Income Adjusted for Cost of Living

20th • Social Life

The best city for finding a job was Seattle, and the worst was San Bernadino, Calif.
