Residents were evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a semi-truck carrying propane crashed off the Echo interchange between Interstate 80 and Interstate 84 in Summit County.

The truck rolled over just after 1 p.m., according to Summit County. The driver said he was carrying 10,000 gallons of propane and reported a leak.

Utah Highway Patrol officers were at the crash site Wednesday afternoon. Roads between Coalville and Henefer were closed and residents within one mile of the crash site were told to evacuate. By 5 p.m., I-80 had reopened. The eastbound lane of I-84 reopened around 7 p.m., but the westbound lane is still closed.
