The DMV office in Draper is closed until further notice because an employee there tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.

According to the Division of Motor Vehicles, the office will be cleaned and sterilized and employees will be tested for coronavirus before the location at 14555 S. Minuteman Drive is reopened.

“This is frustrating for customers and employees, but unavoidable given the situation,” said DMV director Monte Roberts in a statement.

All appointments scheduled at the Draper office have been canceled, and customers are encouraged to schedule an appointment at another offices at DMV.UTAH.gov.

The DMV office in South Salt Lake was closed on June 15 after an employee there tested positive for the coronavirus. It remained close for more than a week, reopening on June 24.
