How long is the line to hike Angel’s Landing in Zion? Really, really long.

If you were planning to hike Angel’s Landing this Memorial Day weekend, you may want to rethink that idea — or at least bring something to keep yourself occupied while you stand in a long, long line.

Zion National Park officials tweeted Sunday afternoon that the queue for the famously breathtaking hike — which is forming at the Grotto Trailhead — is currently hours long (as shown by a photo of more than a dozen bored-looking people).

Park officials advised visitors to consider hiking elsewhere or arriving earlier tomorrow. They also said there’s no parking available in Zion, and advised would-be hikers to park in Springdale or think about trying again after 3:30 p.m.
