Don't breathe easy just yet — the inversion is still with us.

Sunday's air quality remains "moderate" in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Weber, Cache, Box Elder, Tooele, Uintah and Duchesne counties, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality. By Monday, though, all of those areas will upgrade to "good," except for Duchesne and Uintah counties.

A weak storm will arrive Sunday to dust the northern mountains with light, intermittent snow through the night. The snowfall will become moderate at times on Monday. The Logan-area mountains could see several inches of accumulation by the time the storm is gone Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Speaking of snow, there is a moderate chance for avalanches in the mountains across the state, according to the Utah Avalanche Center. That risk lasts through at least Monday, too.

Meanwhile, the temperatures are on the rise. Salt Lake City can expect highs of 40 and 45 on Sunday and Monday, respectively. St. George can expect highs of 50 and 55 on Sunday and Monday, according to the weather service.

The southeastern valleys, including the Lake Powell area, will also see patchy fog and low clouds through Sunday.
