Bicyclist killed in Logan crash

A bicyclist crossing Main Street at 1475 North in Logan was hit by a pickup truck and fatally injured on Friday morning.

The crash happened in the middle of a block at 11:15 a.m., said Logan police Captain Curtis Hooley. The bicyclist was taken to Logan Regional Hospital, where he was declared dead.

The bicyclist — whose identity police have not yet released — was in his 80s, Hooley said.
