Police have identified a man killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Logan Canyon on Saturday.

Cassidy Wakely, 33, of Logan, was riding an ATV with friends on Franklin Basin Road when he failed to negotiate a bend in the road, a news release from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office says. The four wheeler went off the road and dropped over a 15-foot ledge.

Despite wearing a helmet, Wakely suffered internal injuries and died at the scene.
