OK, settle down now. Winter's back. Along with normal seasonal temperatures, finally, northern Utah's forecast called for fresh snow late Monday and again by Tuesday evening.

Temperatures Monday were forecast to stay in the mid- to upper-30s along the Wasatch Front — a far cry from the upper-50s to low-60s just last week. On Tuesday, after nighttime lows in the 20s, daytime readings were expected to be only a couple degrees warmer.

Typical early winter weather also returned to southern Utah, with daytime highs in the low- to mid-50s, overnight lows in the 30s and some rainfall expected in the evenings Monday and Tuesday.

The Utah Division of Air Quality graded the entire state as "green," or healthy for breathing into the midweek.

The Utah Avalanche Center rated the risk for potentially deadly mountain snowslides on Monday as "moderate" for all monitoring areas.
