The Festival of Trees has raised money for Primary Children's Hospital since 1971. All of the proceeds made from selling the more than 800 trees and other holiday items got to the hospital. In the 44 years of the festival, organizers have raised more than $35 million.

All of that money has benefitted patients at the hospital. In 2013, the hospital spent nearly $13.2 million to cover 9,031 hospital visits by children in need.

The festival runs Dec. 3 to 6.
