Learn everything you wanted to know about turkey — sorry no recipes about leftovers here — during the 4th annual Turkey Days Open House Friday and Saturday at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.

The free event includes family-friendly crafts and a showing of the documentary "My Life as a Turkey," airing at 10 a.m. and noon each day.

The documentary shares the story of naturalist Joe Hutto who raises wild turkey chicks.

Turkey Days runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the Wildlife Education Center, 2155 W. Forest St., west of Brigham City and one block west of I-15 at Exit 363.

Visitors also can take the auto tour loop of the refuge, open sunrise to sunset. Just don't expect to see wild turkeys — they haven't been spotted on the refuge.
