South Jordan Police are looking for the suspects in a Denny's robbery — and are investigating whether they robbed two other places in Draper as well.

About 6:30 a.m. Sunday, a man entered the Denny's at 10646 S. Frontage Road, drew a handgun and had "something strapped to his chest," according to a South Jordan Police news release.

He demanded money from the clerk then fled to a dark Ford Focus waiting outside, the release adds. The four-door Focus took off south on Interstate 15.

The robber was described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had a white mask and scarf covering his face, and was wearing a dark jacket, police say.

Police do not have a description of the driver.

"These suspects are considered armed and extremely dangerous and anyone with information is urged to call 911 or the South Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000," South Jordan Police Officer Samuel Winkler said in a statement.

Two similar robberies, with a similar suspect description, occurred a short time later in Draper, according to the release. Investigators are collecting surveillance from all of the robberies to see if they are related.

The first of the Draper robberies occurred about 7 a.m., at the 692 E. 123rd South 7-Eleven.

"The suspect produced a backpack that he said was a bomb and placed it on the counter," according to a Draper police news release. He also displayed a black handgun and demanded money, but left after the clerk refused to give him any, the release adds.

The Unified Fire Bomb Squad arrived and determined that the device was not a bomb.

Then about 7:30 a.m., the same suspect arrived at the Pro Stop at 13893 S. Bangerter Parkway, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to the release. He then left with an undisclosed amount.
