Draper police are looking for an endangered woman with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Bonnie Jean Winnie, 83, was last seen about 4:30 p.m. Friday and is believed to have walked away from the Draper Rehabilitation and Care Center, at 12702 S. Fort St. The overnight low in Draper will fall to 32 degrees, ahead of a series of storms expected to arrive Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Police describe Winnie as 5-foot-2 and 139 pounds with gray hair and a green left eye. Her right eye is missing, according to a police news release.

She was wearing a red fleece jacket with a yellow and green striped shirt, as well as brown slacks and white shoes.

The Unified Fire Authority and a Department of Public Safety helicopter were aiding the police officers in their search, said police Sgt. Chad Carpenter. Police were not looking for volunteers, but would like residents to check their yards and sheds for her, Carpenter said.

If anyone sees her, Draper police want you to call them at 801-840-4000.
